When we talk about notebooks, we’re no longer referring to simple laptops. The traditional laptop has evolved into a device that makes work easier and more accessible – anytime, anywhere. It’s now the perfect gateway for working with AI tools, making work more efficient and effortless. Creating presentations, writing text, and visualising data can now be done from any personal PC. And when it’s time to unwind after work, your notebook is still the ideal companion. With so many different users, there’s a need for a wide range of devices – each with its own features, specifications, and price points. HP delivers exactly that through a complete notebook line-up, often available from TD SYNNEX directly from stock.

HP’s new model names make it much easier to instantly understand the device in front of you. No need to dig through long spec sheets – the name tells the story. Take the HP EliteBook X G1i 14: “EliteBook X” refers to the stylish, versatile series. “G1” means Generation 1, so you know which version you’re recommending. The “i” indicates an Intel processor, and “14” simply refers to the 14-inch display size.
Compare this to the HP EliteBook X G1a 14. Same series, same generation, same screen size – but the “a” tells you it’s an AMD variant. There’s also the “q” option for Qualcomm.
With this clear naming structure, you can see the key features at a glance. It saves time, avoids confusion, and makes it easier to find the perfect match for your customer.
Some end users need a PC that can handle not only daily tasks but also heavier programs and applications. Think of programs like Adobe’s Creative Cloud suite or Autodesk, but also business intelligence employees working with large data loads. For them, there are the ZBook mobile workstations.
These notebooks come in four different types: the ZBook Power and ZBook Firefly are ideal for 2D and light to medium 3D workflows, but also for photography, simulation, and data analysis. The ZBook Studio and ZBook Fury are the most powerful notebook workstations, perfect for heavier workloads, artificial intelligence, and more intensive design work.
