In the world we live in, the computer is an essential tool for young people to learn and develop themselves. But not everyone gets the same opportunities and consequently access to this important tool. That is why TD SYNNEX is working with OVWB to help all young people in need of a laptop and make a difference in this world, even if it is only a small difference.
What is ‘Ondernemers voor een Warm België’?
What is OVWB? Ondernemers voor een Warm België’ is an organization of entrepreneurs who work together with other entrepreneurs to help children and youth in their development. In order to increase their impact and take a structured approach, OVWB has chosen 3 domains in which they will help children: Culture, Nutrition, and Education. In the latter, TD SYNNEX wants to do its part.
Why help?
Digital tools are becoming increasingly central to our lives. Laptops are conquering more and more classrooms. That’s good news. But for some families, buying a laptop is not a given. The need for laptops for underprivileged families has never been higher. OVWB and TD SYNNEX therefore want to collect, refurbish and distribute used laptops to narrow the digital gap.
