New Commerce Experience (NCE)
We’d like to inform you about important upcoming changes to Microsoft’s New Commerce Experience (NCE) seat-based licenses.
New Term Option
Starting April 1, 2026, a new monthly term with monthly billing will be available:
- Fully flexible, cancel anytime
- Receive pro-rated credit upon cancellation
- Active as of April 1, 2026
Renewal Policy Changes
Please note key updates to renewal behavior:
- No more grace period when renewal is turned off
- Duration before expiration:
- 30 – 90 days for P1Y and P3Y
- 7 days for P1M
- No additional charge; subscriptions move directly into End of Service Term (EST)
Application Timeline
These changes apply to:
- Licenses purchased after April 1, 2025
- Licenses renewing after April 1, 2026
A new renewal setting “Move to EST” will be introduced and available starting January 19, 2026.
If auto-renewal is set to OFF, the subscription will automatically move to EST at the end of its term.
We recommend reviewing your renewal settings in advance to ensure a smooth transition.
