0–90 days: Clarify, prioritize, mobilize

Measure what changes: cycle time, cost reduction, customer response, or decision velocity.
During this phase, governance is your ally. Use Microsoft’s Responsible AI and data management frameworks to establish accountability and scalability. The goal is not perfection; its validation, confirming where real business lift occurs.
180–365 days: Scale and institutionalize
The final phase is where most organizations stall, scaling successful pilots into enterprise practice. This requires two things: executive sponsorship and process integration. By now, insights from pilots should inform broader architectural changes, automating more workflows, expanding data integration, and embedding AI into operational systems.
Consider also the human side. Technology adoption depends on trust and capability. Invest in reskilling programs for employees working with AI-assisted tools. Use Modern Work analytics to monitor engagement and collaboration effectiveness.
At this stage, transformation shifts from experimentation to culture. You’re not doing Ignite anymore, you’re living it.
What not to do
Don’t chase every announcement. Don’t overengineer pilots. Don’t leave ownership in IT alone.
