After Directions 2025 with Adriaan Van Eeckhoutte
Interview with Adriaan Van Eeckhoutte about Directions 2025

Directions 2025 in Poznan
- What was your first impression when you arrived at Directions?
The energy was electric. From the moment I walked in, it was clear: this wasn’t just another conference — it was a dynamic gathering of innovators, partners, and changemakers.
The buzz around Business Central and AI was palpable, and the sense of community was stronger than ever.
- What inspired you most during the event?
The unveiling of AI Agents like the Sales Order Agent and Payables Agent was a standout. Seeing how these tools are moving into mainstream use — and how customizable they are — really sparked ideas.
But just as inspiring were the hallway conversations: honest, forward-looking, and full of momentum.
- What trends or insights are you bringing back to our team and partners?
- Business Central crossing 50,000 customers is more than a milestone — it’s a signal of trust and scalability.
- AI is no longer a future concept; it’s here, embedded in real workflows.
- Microsoft’s partner-first approach in developing Agent tools shows how co-creation drives better outcomes.
- Transparency and user control are key to building trust in AI — and Business Central is leading by example.
- Why is Directions so important for us as a partner organization?
As a distributor and orchestrator, Directions is where we need to be. It’s how we stay close to the Dynamics 365 Business Central community international and local — and truly understand what partners care about, which ISVs matter, and where Microsoft is heading.
Direct interaction beats any email or Teams call. We’ve built a strong reputation the last few years, in a new market for TD SYNNEX.
And events like this are key to growing it further — toward becoming the best Dynamics distributor in the world.
- How will you translate the inspiration into action within our projects or client relationships?
We picked up clear signals from the community: partners need help showcasing AI, training talent, and getting the most out of their Microsoft partnership.
So we’ll actively promote our Copilot Cloudlab Experience, support skills development, and offer tools like ION Syndication to help partners grow smarter and faster.
- Finally: if you had to summarize Directions in one word, what would it be — and why?
Momentum. Because everything — from the product updates to the partner conversations — pointed in one direction: forward.
