Kyocera FAQ
What is the standard warranty on Kyocera ECOSYS devices?
All ECOSYS devices purchased and installed in the BeNeLux region through Kyocera’s official distribution channels (including TD SYNNEX) enjoy a standard 36-month (3 years) on-site warranty.
How does my customer report an issue with the device?
Through care.kyoceradocumentsolutions.be customers in the Benelux can schedule a service appointment as long as the product is still under warranty.

Which questions should I ask to help my customer determine if a device is suitable for their business?
First, check whether your customer only needs printing or also requires copying, scanning, and/or faxing, as this will determine whether a printer or a multifunctional device is suitable.
Next, decide together if color printing is needed or if monochrome (black-and-white) is sufficient, as this can significantly affect the cost of the device and supplies.
Finally, choose the specific printer type within that category, paying attention to your customer’s usage: high-volume users benefit from a high-end device, which tends to be more expensive in purchase price, but they “make up” with a lower cost of toner usage.

On one of the pages TCO is mentioned, what does that mean?
TCO stands for Total Cost of Ownership. This includes not only the initial purchase price, but also costs such as maintenance, energy consumption, and consumables (like cartridges). Kyocera has an excellent track record for low TCO thanks to sustainable manufacturing and minimal use of energy and supplies.
My customer says an admin password is required for the printer. How can I help them?
Since April 2024, the printer’s admin password is included in the documentation inside the box of the printer. The customer should find it there, as it was supplied with the printer.
