Multi-touch screen support
The ClickShare firmware update 2.22 introduces multi-touch support for touchscreens, making hybrid meetings even more intuitive. Teams can now collaborate more naturally with features such as:
- Pinch-to-zoom in documents
- Smooth scrolling
- Right-clicking directly on the screen
- Interaction with apps like Miro
With support for up to 10 simultaneous touches, meetings feel even more dynamic, without interruptions or switching between devices.
Available for: ClickShare CX-30, CX-50 Gen 1 & Gen 2 (requires Desktop App 4.42 and ClickShare Button).
Dual Content Sharing
With the latest update, dual content sharing is now also available via the ClickShare Button!
- Users of ClickShare CX-50 2nd generation and ClickShare Bar Pro can share two different content items simultaneously on a dual-display setup.
- Previously, this feature was only available through the ClickShare Desktop App, but now it also works with the Button for even more flexibility.
This update makes presenting easier and more efficient for hybrid meetings!
How to Update Your Devices?
ClickShare consists of various components: Base Units, Buttons, Apps, and the XMS Cloud management platform. Ensure that each part is up-to-date for the best user experience.
- Base Unit: Can be updated automatically or manually via the ClickShare Configurator.
- Buttons: Update automatically via Wi-Fi.
- ClickShare Desktop App: We recommend manually downloading and installing the latest version. After that, the auto-update feature ensures that the app always remains up-to-date. Want to meet wirelessly via the App? Then download the MSI installer.
- iOS and Android Apps: Are updated according to your mobile device’s settings.
- XMS Cloud: Updates are performed automatically, while XMS Virtual Edge can be updated manually.
