The AI Act entered into force on August 1, 2024, and from August 2, 2026, most obligations must be complied with by companies. However, the first obligations have already applied since February 2, 2025, and relate to promoting AI literacy on the one hand, and banning AI systems with an unacceptable risk on the other.
This training will address the societal impact of AI. In particular, it will cover the obligations under the AI Act that must already be complied with today. In addition, the future obligations will be mapped out.
Since the use of AI is not only regulated by the AI Act, other applicable legislation (e.g., GDPR) and more general risks (e.g., hallucinations) will also be briefly discussed.
After this training, participants will have the necessary basic knowledge to correctly assess the legal and other risks of using artificial intelligence.
