AI Unlocked: Unleash the power of Data and AI with SAS

During the webinar of the 17th of October, we explored how organizations can strategically lead with AI by leveraging the capabilities of SAS. SAS offers a unified Data & AI platform that enables organizations to centralize data management, build AI models, and deploy insights directly into operations. It supports both code-based and visual interfaces, making it accessible to a wide range of users.

Organizations benefit from SAS’s ability to handle diverse analytical and AI techniques, including statistics, machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, forecasting, and optimization. For those aiming to scale quickly and deliver value, SAS provides pre-built AI solutions that accelerate implementation. Moreover, SAS ensures that AI is applied in a trustworthy and governed manner, which is increasingly critical in today’s regulatory and ethical landscape.

Key Takeaways

In this session, we focussed on how SAS can help in the following strategic topics that dominate today’s AI landscape:

  • Enterprise AI Agents: SAS supports the development of AI agents that integrate large language models, business logic, and AI models, all within a framework that prioritizes trust and governance.
  • AI Governance: Governance is built into the SAS Viya platform. SAS offers automated components for data governance to e.g. detect privacy and quality issues, AI governance to e.g. uncover bias and ensure interpretability, and ModelOps to e.g. validate and monitor models over time.
  • Synthetic Data Generation: SAS has made significant investments in the development of synthetic data generation capabilties to make data AI-ready. Organizational data is often not read for AI, suffering from challenges like incompleteness, privacy concerns, and the absence of data. SAS helps in the creation of synthetic data to accelerate AI initiatives by providing a profound skills set to generate data using AI, augmented by the integration of business logic to make synthetic data as realistic as possible.
