Aalst, Belgium – 18/06/2025 – TD SYNNEX Benelux, a leading IT distributor and solutions aggregator, today announced a new distribution agreement with Object First, the developer of Ootbi (Out-of-the-Box-Immutability), a secure and immutable backup storage appliance purpose-built for Veeam environments.
Through this partnership, TD SYNNEX Benelux will offer Object First’s Ootbi solution to its network of channel partners in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. This collaboration aims to strengthen the data protection capabilities available to mid-market and enterprise customers by delivering a robust, ransomware-proof storage platform that integrates seamlessly with Veeam Backup & Replication.
Ootbi by Object First is designed to deliver secure, simple, and powerful backup storage. The appliance features immutable object storage technology, ensuring that backup data is protected from ransomware and unauthorized changes. With zero access to the operating system and firmware, Ootbi provides a hardened environment that aligns with Zero Trust security principles. The integration with Veeam’s Smart Object Storage API (SOSAPI) enables advanced management, fast ingest speeds, and enhanced instant recovery performance, making Ootbi an ideal fit for organizations looking to modernize their backup strategies without compromising on security or simplicity.
